I’m Robert Hayes, I began working full-time in Human Resources during my undergraduate studies, managing background checks, internship programs, and leave policies at The Ohio State University.
While completing my Master’s in Human Resource Management, I transitioned to the private sector, joining a cryogenic engineering and manufacturing firm. There, I led recruiting, talent, performance, and compensation programs—eventually becoming HR Director while also taking on select non-conflicting consulting roles. Across my career I have held leadership positions in multiple organizations recognized as Top Workplaces for their culture.
Now with fourteen years of experience in HR, I am pursuing an MA in American Studies in Germany, where my research focuses on U.S. work culture and organizational life. Drawing on this combination of international perspective, bilingual practice in English and German, and a record of organizational leadership, I started RHSPC to help clients rethink HR practices in ways that strengthen culture and improve performance.
My approach combines critical analysis with practical application, offering consulting that centers people and culture while addressing the realities of organizational life.

My goal is to help organizations rethink HR as a strategic practice. Not just for managing people, but for shaping cultures where employee well-being and business goals align with clarity and purpose.
Since 2018, I’ve held senior-level certifications from the HR Certification Insitutue (SPHR) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP), demonstrating expertise in strategic HR, compliance, and leadership.
I’m also certified to teach Business English as a Foreign Language, supporting multilingual professionals in developing communication skills and intercultural competence.
When a project requires additional expertise or creative content, I collaborate as needed with a trusted network of HR professionals, graphic designers, and scholars. This ensures a seamless experience for my clients and delivers consistently high-quality, strategically clear results.
